Super great week! me and Elder Heinburger had 38 lessons this week. and our district combined for 99 lessons in one week. Super cool to see all of the tender mercys the Lord provided for us.
Being district leader is pretty fun! I thought it would be a little harder but I enjoy it a lot! It's been really fun to go on exchanges with other elders.
We had our temple trip today so I wasn't able to write yesterday sorry about that! But everything is going great and the church is true!
Love you all and thanks for everything.

New Companion
We had an awesome week this week! Said goodbye to Elder Livaie! He'll be going back to Honolulu for his last transfer of his mission!
And then I picked up Elder Heinburger! He's going to be such a good missionary! He was real excited to go out and start working.
We had 3 baptismal commitments this week and 27 total lessons! It was defiantly one of the best weeks on my mission. Elder Heinburger is from Heber city but has been living in California for the past year going to school, so he graduated the same year as me! His hobbies are traveling around the world! He has had some really crazy stories haha. I was able to introduce him to some of the local foods down here as well haha its been so fun! He reminds me of myself at the beginning of my mission.
Everything is going well! I hope the same to all of you.
Love you guys!!

Leadership changes
I love reading your guys emails home! This week was super crazy haha! I'm not really sure how but we met three different people all in one week and they all want to be baptized! Two of them have baptismal dates now and the other we are meeting with him this Sunday!
On top of that we had transfers! And Elder Livaie got transferred after only three weeks! But I got called as a Trainer and District Leader. The elder I'll be training is Elder Heinburger from Heber Utah! haha it's going to be a very fun couple of months! I'm pretty excited to meet him!
I've met my new mission president a couple times! I love them! He's going to do great. His wife is very spunky haha! She is so sweet though.
Everything is going great, I've been blessed to see so many miracles so far on my mission!
I love you guys and hope you have a great week!

The work is progressing
Super cool all of your pictures! The computer I'm at this week can't upload pictures! But next week I'll show you a picture of me and my companion. We had an awesome week! the ward trust is really growing and we're getting a lot of referrals! So we have been pretty busy.
Me and elder Levaie had two pretty cool experiences this week. So on Tuesday we went to contact a referral that was given to us! So when we walked to the door we could tell they were members haha so they let us in and invited us over for lunch! It turned out the referral fell through and they had someone they wanted us to teach but they left! So after the lunch we continued to go and do some of our visits! We decided to go visit the Sua's and when we knocked on their door one of the kids from the family who fed us lunch was there! I guess they are on the same football team so they hang out a lot! So after we both were out of shock we used him to be a fellowship for the Sua family! So pretty cool.. we're going to start teaching him the lessons. So that was a cool blessing! The next one is me and Elder Levaie went to go get some dinner at Costco haha.. When we showed up a lady who was a return missionary for about 2 weeks and her mom came and bought us dinner! We started to talk and I guess Elder Levaie's brother was companions with one of their brothers! So both the families knew each other! And then they asked where I was from and I guess the mother's husband is from Grantsville as well and they just got back from visiting family for the 4th of July! And they knew dad because they were in the same stake as us.. So that was pretty nuts! They ended up inviting us to a big party they are having thisSaturday and we're going to teach some of their family. So crazy how everything works out. I met our new president and he gave me a big hug from you guys!! haha
I love you guys and hope all is well.

Sick companion
Hey Mom! I love you guys and it was awesome to see the picture of everyone!
So sorry I couldn't email yesterday I had to take my companion to the hospital and he might need to go home from his mission... So I wasn't able to write. But I'll let you guys know what happens next week. I cant believe you guys leave for your mission tomorrow! I hope dad had an awesome fathers day and I hope he knows I love him! Love you.
Crazy week! I'm sorry I haven't been able to write much.. For basically the past month I've just been kind of taking care of Elder P! He has been struggling a lot with many different things.. And to top it off last week he got MRSA all over his legs ... So we were in the hospital all day for a week. And we had to meet with the mission president and a lot of medical people from the church etc.. But anyways Elder P ended up going home :( But it wasn't a sad experience... He knew he has some things to fix when he is home and he is excited to conquer them and come back out on a mission!
So my new companion is Elder L he is a Pompeian elder and grew up there for most his childhood! and his mom moved the family to South Carolina before he came on his mission! We get along really well! We have a lot of things in common haha! But everything is going great! We had 2 baptism dates and one coming up in July! I can't believe you're in Uganda! haha its so insane. I love you! Have a great week President and Sister Collings ;)

Meeting with Elder Renlund
We had a great week this week! We got another
Baptisimal date with our investigator we have been working with!
This week we
had a little over 30 hours of service haha! We had a lot of members from our
ward move so we helped out with that.
Then on Friday we had Zone Conference in
Kaneohe! So I was able to show my companion a little bit of my last area so he
was pretty excited about that.
Saturday Elder Renlund came and visited our
mission and met with all the missionaries. His whole talk was about how effective missionaries
have to combine effort and a good attitude always, and if you can do that then
miracles will happen. I enjoyed it a lot! Then to make it just a little better, on Sunday we had a special Stake Conference and Bishop Caussse came and spoke
to our stake. haha so needless to say its a good thing today is P-Day so I can
soak in some of the stuff all the great speakers had to talk about!
Everything
is going great! I'm learning a ton from my companion!
Love You guys

Lots of lessons
This week was really good! We have another person who has a baptisimal date and a couple more who are really close.
This week was awesome, Elder P was telling me he had never gotten over 15 lessons in a week before! So I made it a point I wanted to get a lot more than that! We ended up with 36 lessons so that made his day haha!
26 For behold, it is not meet that I should command in all things; for he that is compelled in all things, the same is a slothful and not a wise servant; wherefore he receiveth no reward.
27 Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness;
28 For the power is in them, wherein they are agents unto themselves. And inasmuch as men do good they shall in nowise lose their reward.
I like this scripture a lot because of what it says in verse 28 "Wherein they are agents unto themselves" It's so true that we are our best judges and that we all know how much work we can do. It doesn't matter what other people say as long as you feel accomplished at the end of the day for the work you've done. I hope you all have a great week!
Love, Elder Collings
